NBCH – The Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) based at the Main Teaching Hospital (RSPPU) or Hospital Based, is a program inaugurated by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. This program is part of a noble ideal to accelerate the fulfillment of specialist doctor needs in Indonesia, especially in areas requiring equitable distribution in areas requiring rapid treatment, so that patients do not have to be referred to hospitals outside their area, which can require significant travel time. In this new academic year, Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono National Brain Center Hospital Jakarta, as one of the Main Teaching Hospitals in Neurology, welcomed the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) Batch 2 students on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in the VVIP Meeting Room, 11th Floor, Building A. The opening remarks were given by the President Director of Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono Jakarta (dr. Adin Nulkhasanah, Sp.S., MARS), the welcoming ceremony for the students was also attended by the Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research (Prof. Dr. dr. Syahrul, Sp.S(K)), the Director of Medical and Nursing (dr. Reza Aditya Arpandy, Sp.N., Subsp.NIOO(K), and the Education Coordination Committee Team. It is hoped that the implementation of the Specialist Doctor Education Program based on the Main Organizing Teaching Hospital, which has entered its second batch, will be able to produce specialist doctors in the field of neurology who will be ready to return to the regions to dedicate themselves to the community through health services. Dr. Adin Nulkhasanah, Sp.S., MARS said in his remarks that although the 12 (twelve) PPDS participants come from different regions, they must have one goal: to gain knowledge and maintain unity throughout the study program.
