RSPON – In order to improve neurology nursing services, the Basic Neuro Life Support (BNLS) Training Batch II was held at the Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono National Brain Center Hospital, Jakarta on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 online via zoom meeting. This training was opened with a Training Implementation Report by Eny Meiliya, S.Kep., MKM as Spv. Education and Research Working Team, and was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. dr. Syahrul, Sp.S(K) as Director of Human Resources, Education, and Research at the Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono National Brain Center Hospital, Jakarta. The Basic Neuro Life Support (BNLS) Training Batch II was carried out via blended learning on April 29-30 online, and on May 2-3, 2025 as a class at the Prof. Dr. dr. Mahar Mardjono National Brain Center Hospital, Jakarta. This training was attended by 25 (twenty five) participants from hospital institutions in Indonesia including: Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National Hospital, Dr. Kariadi General Hospital, Persahabatan General Hospital, Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital, Dr. Sitanala General Hospital, Dr. Soetomo General Hospital, Dr. Moewardi General Hospital, Dr. Drs. M. Hatta Bukittinggi Brain Hospital, Budhi Asih General Hospital, Tarakan General Hospital, Pasar Minggu General Hospital, Pasar Rebo General Hospital, and Rantau Prapat General Hospital. The purpose of the Basic Neuro Life Support (BNLS) Training Batch II is that participants are able to provide appropriate neurological emergency management. After attending this training, participants have the competence to conduct neurology nursing assessments, conduct emergency management of stroke patients, conduct emergency management of head injury patients, conduct emergency management of spinal cord trauma patients, conduct emergency management of central nervous system infection patients, conduct management of increased intracranial pressure, conduct emergency management of patients with Guillen Bare syndrome and myasthenia gravis, and conduct emergency management of patients with seizures.
